North Korea – unforgettable journey!
DPRK - the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the Land of the Morning Calm, Eighth Miracle of the world or "Last reservation of Communism". So many different nicknames this state has and so bizarre and amazing at the same time it really is.
While not everybody may know, they (including US citizens) can legally travel to North Korea (DPRK). Only 2-3 thousands tourists (excluding Chinese) visit DPRK every year and each of these luckiest has said that journey to Land of the Morning Calm was the the diamond of their travel experience. Tourist travel to North Korea is only possible as part of a guided tour. Independent travel is not permitted. If you are not prepared to accept limitations on your movements and behavior, you should not travel to the DPRK at the present time. On the other hand, travel in the DPRK is, if nothing else, a unique experience.
