Thank you. We are home after our excellent 28days in China culminating in our 8 day Yunnan experience.

Our tour with Dragon Delight was excellent. From the time we were met at Kunming Airport to through Dali, Li Jiang and Shangrila and back to Kunming before flying home on September 26th everything was well organised. Our tour guides, Jason, Wiliam, the delightful Mandy in Li Jiang and Dorma in Shangrila, were excellent. They were prompt, knowledgable, had excellent English and knew their area well. Our drivers were also excellent, especially the gentleman that remained with us from Dali through Li jiang and on to Shangrila. We felt confident being driven by them on roads where some road users that were less than safe.

The hotels were top quality, and the restaurants that we were taken to for lunches provided fine food with a great variety of local dishes.

It was a joy to be guided by a lass from the Naxi minority in Li Jiang and a Tibetan in Shangrila. They were able to give us an excellent insight into their culture.

I was a little hesitiant in booking a trip over the internet in a country we had not visited before but could not fault your organisation or personnel.

Let me take this oppurtunity to thank you for your excellent service and care while in China. You are assured of my further patronage when there again. I might come back to Beijing in July.

For your interest I got a quote from a local agency here who deals in China tours and the quote for a 5 star  hotel package with the same intenarary as yours was 3700 US dollars(without Suzhou tour).

A quote for a 3 star package was about 13000 Rand(our local currency... about 2100 US $. I will send you a copy of that quote if I can find it.

 

I am not very informed on the travel industry but I wonder what sort of feedback you will get if you market yourself

here in one of our newspapers.

I wanted to take a moment and thank everyone involved with Uday's and my June trip to Beijing. As there are alot of different tour companies to select from in Beijing we took alot of precautions in who to select. This involved so many questions back and fourth to the different companies prior to selecting the right vendor. Then once we selected Dragon Delight we had to customize all of the different tours we wanted to take and arrange a deposit from India.

 

Needless to say in this case we made all of the correct decisions in doing this. And with all of the communications from Michael Liu prior to arriving helped our tour guide Lili to execute our stay just perfectly. Lili went out of her way to make sure everything was flawless. She arrived early for all of our days and answered all of our questions well above and beyond the need of her position. Even to the details of where to go for dinner and just getting around. Lili was better than any Lonely Planet tour book could have ever been.

 

I've attached a picture of all of us on the Great Wall. I work in the Customer Service world and for a client to want a picture of their tour guide speaks leaps and bounds on the type of service they delivered. >From Lili's wonderful performance I've already recommended your company to several of my clients and their associates. We also plan to use you on our return trip to China.

To thank you for me personally and for my wife, son and daughter for the most enjoyable traveling experience we have ever endeavoured, as well as perhaps the most informative period in my entire life, in many respects, but most profoundly in our cultural links which origininated in your most interesting country and the people we met there. i would like to ask for you to convey this appreciation to the guides you wisely provided for us and not to slight the drivers as well, for we appreciate the degree of difficulty of driving in large metropolitan areas which have different driving styles than what we are used to. i particular i would like to tell you of the extraordinary rapport that we felt with t.j., our beijing guide. my wife felt this to the extent of shedding a tear on our departure from beijing. i believe this was a special situation, part of which was our small group, but one we will never forget. all of our guides were very friendly and informational and our drivers skillfull. after our return, i find myself even more desire to learn more about china than before our visit. all of our friends suddenly are caught up in our tale of the sights and people of china.(at least the places we visited.)

we are highly reccommending your travel service as a top flight and well run enterprise that they should all take advantage of. the sights we saw and the treasures we were able to bring back as souveniers are a source of great joy, not to mention the exellent pictures and video that i was able to bring back. (especially nice for margaret who could not go because of a broken arm). not to take more of your valuable time, one more thanks and perhaps a picture that i think captures the beauty of an old garden in which my daughter and son are included. please also to feel free to use this thanks as a testemonial for your excellent tour package.
