You can start your own tours at anytime as you like. Daily Itinerary

Day 1
Arrive Beijing ()

Our professional English speaking guide will meet you at the airport and escort you to the hotel upon your arrival. The guide is always willing to give you considerate suggestions for the restaurants and your other needs. Take a good break to recover from the long flight and jetlag.

Day 2
Beijing (B/L)
After nice buffet breakfast at hotel, we’ll drive you to visit the largest public square in the world ---- Tiananmen Square. In a short stroll to the Meridian Gate, you’ll see the Forbidden City (namely Palace Museum). Surely you will have a better understanding to the fascinating architectures with the explanation of our guide. After lunch at local Peking Roasted Duck restaurant, visit Temple of Heaven, originally served as a stage for ancient emperor to pray for good harvests. You can choose the Peking Opera Show (or Chinese Kungfu show) as optional in the evening.

The Tian'anmen Square: The largest city square in the world.
The Forbidden City: the imperial palace for the Ming and Qing with a history of around 600 years.
The Temple of Heaven: The Temple of Heaven is a masterpiece of architecture and landscape design which simply and graphically illustrates a cosmogony of great importance for the evolution of one of the world’s great civilizations

the Sacred Way

Day 3
Beijing (B/L)
After breakfast at hotel, drive to the the Great Wall at Badaling and spend your time here for the classic views of the bastion snaking over undulating hills. After lunch at local restaurant, drive to your next destination. Stroll on the Sacred Way where stone statues guarding on both sides. The road leads to the the Ming Tombs which are the final resting place of Ming emperors.

The Great Wall: the symbol of China and Climbing the Great Wall you can pass visitors from all over the world, and hear conversations in almost every language
The Ming Tombs: Consisting of mausoleums of 13 Ming emperors, is one of the largest imperial necropolises in China.
The Sacred Way: The way stood on both sides with marvelous stone sculptures by which means the road leading to heaven.


Day 4
Beijing/Luoyang(B/L)

Buffet breakfast at hotel, transfer to the railway station for high speed train (based on second class seat for budget and standard class,  based on first class seat for deluxe class) to Luoyang. Upon your arrival, meet and transfer to visit Longmen Grottos. Step into the main gate and visit along the west riverside, most of the significant Buddhist carvings are concentrate here. When you reach the last cave on the west side, cross the bridge and walk back north along the east side. You can see not only lovely caves but also a large viewing terrace on the far side of the river .

Longmen Grottos: More than 100,000 images and statues of Buddha and his disciples were carved into the cliff walls.

Day 5
Luoyang (B/L)
Drive to Shaolin Temple, enjoy the Kunfu show performed by the monks in the temple, taste the vegetarian food, then take coach back to Luoyang, overnight at hotel in Luoyang.

Shaolin Temple: It was built over 1500 years ago and it is the birth place of Shaolin kung Fu and Zen Buddhism.

Day 6
Luoyang/Xian (B/L/D)
Buffet breakfast at hotel, transfer to station for bullet train to Xi’an (based on second class seat for budget and standard class,  based on first class seat for deluxe class). Upon your arrival, met and escorted to take a half-day city tour to Shaanxi Historical Museum which is one of the best museums in China and the Ancient City Wall who witness the history of this city. Dumpling Dinner at an excellent dumpling restaurant is supplied.

The Provincial Museum: Which is one of the best Museum in China and where you can learn a lot about the 5,000 year brilliant history of China.
The Ancient City Wall
: Xian City Wall was constructed in the early Ming Dynasty on the basis of the Imperial City of ChangAn (Everlasting Peace) of the Tang Dynasty.

Terracotta Warriors and Horses

Day 7
Xian (B/L)
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Accompanied by knowledgeable and professional guide, the excursion to Terracotta Warriors and Horses will be unforgettable experience for you. In the afternoon, drive back to the city for visiting to Big wild Goose Pagoda (landmark of Xi'an) and the Courtyard of Family Gao with Shadow Puppet Show enjoying. The Tang Dynasty dinner Show is optional for your night. (Fabulous music and costumes brings you back to ancient Chang'an)

The Terracotta Warriors and Horses: The most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century, the army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin's tomb.
The Tang Dynasty Dinner & Show: The show that presents the palace dances and sings in the Tang Dynasty.

The Big wild Goose Pagoda: It is one of the city's most distinctive and outstanding landmarks, possibly the most beautiful building left in Xi'an today. In AD 652, the Big Goose Pagoda was built to store the sutras and the figurines of Buddha, which were brought from India by a famous Buddhist translator and traveler Tang Sanzang, also known by his Buddhist name as Xuanzang.
The Courtyard of Family Gao: The Courtyard of Family Gao: Located in Xian’s bustling shopping area, Gao’s Courtyard is the former residence of Ming Dynasty.The residence is well preserved or restored to replicate the originals. Xian Art Gallery works in the main houses and you can enjoy local Shadow Puppet Show here.


Day 8

Xi’an/Xining (B/L)
Buffet breakfast at hotel, trasnfer to airport for flight to the lively capital of Qinghai Province---- Xining. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to visit Kumbum Monastery. It is one of the great monasteries of the Gelugpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism. You’ll visit the Grand Hall of Golden Tiles which is a perfect combination of Tibetan and Han architectural features. The visit to Yak Butter Scripture Temple provides you a chance to appreciate appreciate the three unique skills: Butter Sculpture, mural paintings and barbola.

(Optional one-day tour to Qinghai Lake: After breakfast, drive to Riyue (Sun and Moon) Moutain Scenic Area where is the key junction connecting the innerland and Tibetan area. Passing by the “Backwards River” that flow from east to west, you’ll arrive at the destination ---- Qinghai Lake. Stroll around the lake and viewing the gorgeous sceneray of the largest innerland lake in China. After the visit, starts your tour back to Xi’ning. You’ll visit the Gold and Silver Grassland enroute. Upon arrival at Xining, drive to hotel for a good rest after the long day trip.)

Day 9
Xining/Lhasa (B/L)
Free until transfer to railway station for your TRAIN to Lhasa, capital of the mysterious Tibet. (based on soft-sleeper; about 1 day) The train trip will never be boring with fantastic views of desert, snow-mountain, grassland and highland.

Day 10
Lhasa ()
Upon arrival at Lhasa station, meet and transfer to hotel for a good rest. Enjoy rest of the day at your leisure.

Potala Palace


Day 11
Lhasa (B/L)

Full day city tour to Potala Palace (the symbol of Tibet), Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street is arranged on this day. Impressive Tibetan architecture, devoted pilgrims, curling smoke of the incense and dazzling exotic goods all make the tour a feast.

The Barkhor Street: It is a flourishing street around jokhang Temple. Along the street are stores and groceries selling light industry products and handicrafts made by locals or Nepal makers It is also the main route for prayer wheels rotating.

Day 12
Lhasa (B/L)

Full day trip to Drepung Monastery (the biggest monastery of Tibetan-Buddhism), Sera Monastery (famous debating Buddhist scriptures show), Norbulingka (summer palace of Tibet) and the Carpet Factory offers you a unique way to know more about Tibetan religion and culture.

The Drepung Monastery: Once world's largest monastery with about 10,000 monks
The Norbulingka Park: Norbulingka Park was built in the 1740s during the reign of the 7th Dalai Lama. Later it was renovated and enlarged and became the Dalai Lama''s summer palace.
Sera Monastery: one of Lhasa's two great Gelugpa monasteries.


Day 13
Lhasa/Shanghai(B/L)

Free at leisure until to be transferred to the airport for flight to Shanghai. Meet and transfer to hotel.

Day 14
Shanghai (B/L)

Buffet breakfast at hotel. You will enjoy the historical view of Yu Garden, Jade Buddha Temple and with lunch at good local restaurants. In the afternoon, the visit to the Bund and Nanjing Road shows the modern side of Shanghai. You can choose Acrobatic Show as optional in the evening.

The Bund: known as a miniature museum of international architecture with dozens of high buildings standing along the shore.
Nanjing Road: the longest commercial street in China, lined with big department and specialty stores, upscale boutiques, and a variety of fine restaurants, enjoying the reputation of "China's No.1 Street".
Yu Garden: a place of peace and comfort in the heart of bustling Shanghai, dates back to the fabled Ming Dynasty.
The Jade Buddha Temple: The most famous Buddhist temple in Shanghai.

the Bund

Day 15
Shanghai/Departure (B)
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Free until transfer to the airport for flight to the next destination.

Itinerary

Shanghai/Suzhou/Shanghai ( B/L )
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Full day trip by coach or train to Suzhou where you will visit Garden of the Master of the Nets, Lingering Garden and Silk Factory with lunch at good local restaurants. Afternoon, boat trip on the ancient canal in Suzhou. Back to Shanghai in the evening.

Garden of the Master of the Nets: Suzhou is famous for its the Gardens. Garden of the Master of the Nets is an elaborate succession of small gardens. In the garden you would marvel at this unique architecture art.
Lingering Garden: It is the best preserved among all the Suzhou gardens.
Silk Factory: Suzhou is also famous for its silk production. In the factory you can see how the silk is processed from the silk worm to the final woven cloth.
Ancient Canal:which is 1,764 km (about 1200 miles) in length, is the longest man-made waterway as well as being the greatest in ancient China.
