This is a private tour, We will assign private guide and van in each city and no other participants will be allowed to join in your group. Also the tour is totally flexible. You can start your own tours at anytime as you like. Daily Itinerary

Day 1
Arrive Beijing ()

On arrival in Beijing, you will be met & transferred by our professional English speaking guide to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 2
Beijing (B/L)
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Full day city excursion to Tiananmen Square-the largest square in the world, Forbidden City-imperial palace of Ming and Qing Dynasty, and Temple of Heaven-here ancient emperors prayed for good harvest. Lunch at good Peking Roasted Duck restaurant. You can choose the Peking Opera Show (or Chinese Kungfu show) as optional in the evening.

The Tian’anmen Square: The largest city square in the world.
The Forbidden City: the imperial palace for the Ming and Qing with a history of around 600 years.
The Temple of Heaven: The Temple of Heaven is a masterpiece of architecture and landscape design which simply and graphically illustrates a cosmogony of great importance for the evolution of one of the world’s great civilizations.

Day 3
Beijing (B/L)
Buffet breakfast at hotel followed by full day trip to the Great Wall at Badaling, the Ming Tombs and the Sacred Way with lunch at local Chinese restaurant.

The Great Wall: the symbol of China and Climbing the Great Wall you can pass visitors from all over the world, and hear conversations in almost every language
The Ming Tombs: Consisting of mausoleums of 13 Ming emperors, is one of the largest imperial necropolises in China.
The Sacred Way: The way stood on both sides with marvelous stone sculptures by which means the road leading to heaven.


Day 4
Beijing/Xian (B/L/D)

Buffet breakfast at hotel, then transfer to the railway station for bullet train to Xian-the ancient capital of China. Upon arrival meet and transfer the hotel. Lunch at local restaurant followed by visit to Shaanxi Historical Museum, Ancient City Wall. Dumpling Dinner at a good dumpling restaurant.

The Provincial Museum: which is one of the best Museum in China and where you can learn a lot about the 5,000 year brilliant history of China.

: Xian City Wall was constructed in the early Ming Dynasty on the basis of the Imperial City of Chang An (Everlasting Peace) of the Tang Dynasty.


Day 5
Xian (B/L)
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Full day excursion to world famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses with circle movie showed before returning to the city for visit of the big wild Goose Pagoda and the Courtyard of Family Gao with Shadow Puppet Show enjoying. Lunch at good local restaurant. You can choose the Tang Dynasty dinner Show as optional in the evening (highly recommended, as it is the best show in China).

The Terracotta Warriors and Horses: The most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century, the army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin's tomb.
The Tang Dynasty Dinner & Show: The show that presents the palace dances and sings in the Tang Dynasty.

The Big wild Goose Pagoda: It is one of the city's most distinctive and outstanding landmarks, possibly the most beautiful building left in Xi'an today. In AD 652, the Big Goose Pagoda was built to store the sutras and the figurines of Buddha, which were brought from India by a famous Buddhist translator and traveler Tang Sanzang, also known by his Buddhist name as Xuanzang.
The Courtyard of Family Gao: The Courtyard of Family Gao: Located in Xian’s bustling shopping area, Gao’s Courtyard is the former residence of Ming Dynasty.The residence is well preserved or restored to replicate the originals. Xian Art Gallery works in the main houses and you can enjoy local Shadow Puppet Show here.


Day 6
Xian/Lhasa (B/L)

Buffet breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for flight to Lhasa. Meet and transfer to hotel. Free at leisure to acclimatize yourself to high altitude.

Potala Palace

Day7
Lhasa (B/L)

Full day trip to Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street.

The Jokhang Temple: The most revered religious structure in Tibet
The Barkhor Street: It is a flourishing street around jokhang Temple. Along the street are stores and groceries selling light industry products and handicrafts made by locals or Nepal makers It is also the main route for prayer wheels rotating.


Day 8
Lhasa (B/L)

Full day trip to Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery, Norbulingka and the Carpet Factory.

The Drepung Monastery: Once world's largest monastery with about 10,000 monks
The Norbulingka Park: Norbulingka Park was built in the 1740s during the reign of the 7th Dalai Lama. Later it was renovated and enlarged and became the Dalai Lama's summer palace.
Sera Monastery: one of Lhasa’s two great Gelugpa monasteries.

Day 9
Lhasa/Zhongdian(B/L)

Free at leisure until to be transferred to the airport for flight to Zhongdian(capital city of Deqen Tibetan Auto. Pref.), where is close to Tibet and known as Shangri-La / a hidden paradise in James Hilton’s 1993 novel--- Lost Horizon. Meet and transfer to hotel.


Day 10
Zhongdian (B/L)
Buffet breakfast at hotel. In the morning Visit Sudu Lake, Bita Lake and Tibetan villages. In the afternoon Visit Grand Gedan Songzang Linsi, back to the town.

Shudu Lake: Situated in the northeast of Zhongdian, Shudu Lake is the largest in the county. With an ancient forest on one side, the east bank of the lake is lined with white birch trees that form a golden sea in autumn.
Bita Lake: 25 kilometers east of Zhongdian, Bita Lake is a plateau lake that provide ideal habitat for birds and animals. Rhododendrons are so plentiful in the lake area that in April and May, the Lake is surrounded by flowers in colors of red, pink, white and purple.
Grand Gedan Songzang Linsi: Originally built in 1679, stands against the hill, surrounded by oval city walls, owns 2 main halls and 8 side halls, the monastery live up to the fame of “Little Potala Palace”


Day 11
Zhongdian/Lijiang (B/L)
Buffet breakfast at hotel ,then drive to Lijiang. Visit first Bend of Yangtze River and Tiger Leaping Gorge on the road. Upon arrival, visit Wanggu Building to get a bird's view of the whole Ancient City of Lijiang.

Frist Bend of Yangtze River: When the river reaches Shigu Township it makes an abrupt turn and flows further northward, forming the marvelous view reputed as the First Bend of the Yangtze River.
Tiger Leaping Gorge
: The name of the gorge is attributed to the legend that a tiger had once jumped across the gorge at its narrowest section 30 meters in width.
Ancient City of Lijiang (Dayan Ancient Town): The town is a largely Naxi settlement first built during the Southern Song Dynasty and was listed by the UNESCO on the list of the world's major cultural heritages in 1997.
Wanggu Building: It is located at Lion Hill in the center of Lijiang Old Town and offers really excellent views over Lijiang and its neighbourhood


Dayan Ancient Town Day 12
Lijiang (B/L)
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Visit Suhe Naxi people's village, Baisha Murals in Baisha Naxi village and Black Dragon Pool.

Black Dragon Pool: The pool is listed in the Collections of Famous Pools in China because of its beauty.

which is a Naxi village with a 500 years old fresco


Day 13
Lijiang/Dali (B/L)
Buffet breakfast at hotel, then drive to Dali, taste the famous Three Flavours of Tea (Sandao Tea) and visit the local Bazaar, then enjoy the beautiful rural scenery by HORSE carriage. Lunch at the local Bai's family. Visit Erhai Lake in the afternoon. Stroll Dali old town in the evening.

Dali old town: built in 1382 and is one the 24 most famous historical and cultural cities in China.
Erhai Lake: the largest highland lake next to Dianchi and one of the seven biggest fresh water lakes in China.


Day 14
Dali/Kunming (B/L)
In the morning, visit Three Pagodas of Chongshen Monastery. Transfer to the railway station to catch the fast train(about 2 hours) to Kunming in the afternoon. Upon arrival meet and transfer to the hotel.

Three Pagodas of Chongshen Monastery: It is a symbol of the history of Dali City and has a history of over 1800 years.


Day 15
Kunming (B/L)
Buffet breakfast at hotel, then drive to the Stone Forest, one of China's most remarkable natural phenomena located 90 km southeast of Kunming. In the afternoon, visit Western Hill, visit the famous "Dragon Gate".

West Hill: The western hill is a forest park. When you are walking in the round path in the hill, flourish trees, beautiful flowers and fountains provide you with a pleasant feeling

Stone Forest: Known as "First Wonder of the World", one of the most important attractions of Yunnan.

Day 16
Kunming/Shanghai (B/L)
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Visit the Flower and Bird Market in the old part of Kunming city, then transfer to the airport for flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival meet and transfer for the city tour of the Bund and Nanjing Road. You can also choose the Acrobatic Show as optional in the evening.

Bird & Flower Market: The famous Flowers and Birds Market is the city’s biggest, most attractive shopping market.
The Bund
: known as a miniature museum of international architecture with dozens of high buildings standing along the shore.

Nanjing Road: the longest commercial street in China, lined with big department and specialty stores, upscale boutiques, and a variety of fine restaurants, enjoying the reputation of "China's No.1 Street".

Day 17
Shanghai (B/L)
Visit Jade Buddha Temple and the Yu Garden, rest time free to explore this modern city.

Yu Garden: a place of peace and comfort in the heart of bustling Shanghai, dates back to the fabled Ming Dynasty.
The Jade Buddha Temple: The most famous Buddhist temple in Shanghai.

Day 18
Shanghai Departure (B)
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Free until transfer to the airport for flight to the next destination.

Itinerary

Shanghai/Suzhou/Shanghai ( B/L )
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Full day trip by coach or train to Suzhou where you will visit Garden of the Master of the Nets, Lingering Garden and Silk Factory with lunch at good local restaurants. Afternoon, boat trip on the ancient canal in Suzhou. Back to Shanghai in the evening.

Garden of the Master of the Nets: Suzhou is famous for its the Gardens. Garden of the Master of the Nets is an elaborate succession of small gardens. In the garden you would marvel at this unique architecture art.
Lingering Garden: It is the best preserved among all the Suzhou gardens.
Silk Factory: Suzhou is also famous for its silk production. In the factory you can see how the silk is processed from the silk worm to the final woven cloth.
Ancient Canal:which is 1,764 km (about 1200 miles) in length, is the longest man-made waterway as well as being the greatest in ancient China.
