	Loh Family's China Tour Review

	Our family of 10 made an eight day customized tour to Beijing and Xian which fulfilled our intention to introduce our grandchildren to their heritage. The tour guide in Beijing had some problem in English and could not provide easy to understand explanations of the history of sights like Tiananmen and Temple of Heaven. She was however very friendly and gave her best effort to arouse the interest of the kids. The guide in Xian spoke fluent English. Our kids benefitted greatly from his thorough and interesting interpretations on the stories of Tarra Cotta Warriors and the overall history of Qin Dynasty. The 5 star hotel Renwei (人卫) in Beijing, a state owned operation, was substandard and with no climate control. But the hotel in Xian, Grand Noble Hotel, lived up to the 5 star rating. We opted to take all dinners on our own and were able to make the reservations while in the States. The lunches provided by the tour were plain despite the effort of introducing the local specialties such as Peking Duck and Xian Jiazhi (饺子宴) Dragon Delight headquarters in Fuzhou has been most responsive before and during the tour to any questions and situations that arose. They provided quality and cost effective packages. The Beijing Xian tour was the second time we booked with them. Laurence from Seattle

	Hello and I’m happy to hear from you. I’ve been meaning to write to tell you what a fantastic time we had, but as you can imagine, it has been very busy since we’ve returned. We thoroughly enjoyed our entire trip and appreciate all the attention you paid to details, such as meeting us at the airport, arranging transportation and hotel reservations, etc. We were pleasantly surprised to get both a guide and a driver for our city visits, and all were quite knowledgeable. The only thing I want to mention is that we are accustomed to traveling more independently and the guides wanted to do everything for us. We had hoped to have a little more time on our own rather than having the guide with us all the time. That is just our preference; it is not a criticism of the tour you provided. However, I wanted to tell you in case that is information you want to get from future clients. I will know to specify that the next time we travel with a guide. I also felt that the guides were anxious for us to add on additional sightseeing, but we felt the tour already contained plenty of activities. Again, I only mentioned the above for future consideration with other travelers. Your arrangements were superb and I will happily recommend your services to anyone interested. I spent an hour my last night writing a 2 page recommendation commending her service. I hope you got a chance to see that. She went well beyond what I expected, walking with me when normally they would have driven, changing my schedule at notice, staying late as some of my activities extended the day. If you did not get the 2 page letter I wrote for her I'll gladly relist all the things she did beyond what I expected to make my stay great. The hotel in shanghai was also excellent. It was the nicest of the trip. It had both a bath and a shower. The shower had 2 shower heads a normal shower and a rain shower (i took 2 showers a day as it was so nice). They also served a fantastic breakfast (the best by far of the trip).

	Thank you. We are home after our excellent 28days in China culminating in our 8 day Yunnan experience. Our tour with Dragon Delight was excellent. From the time we were met at Kunming Airport to through Dali, Li Jiang and Shangrila and back to Kunming before flying home on September 26th everything was well organised. Our tour guides, Jason, Wiliam, the delightful Mandy in Li Jiang and Dorma in Shangrila, were excellent. They were prompt, knowledgable, had excellent English and knew their area well. Our drivers were also excellent, especially the gentleman that remained with us from Dali through Li jiang and on to Shangrila. We felt confident being driven by them on roads where some road users that were less than safe. The hotels were top quality, and the restaurants that we were taken to for lunches provided fine food with a great variety of local dishes. It was a joy to be guided by a lass from the Naxi minority in Li Jiang and a Tibetan in Shangrila. They were able to give us an excellent insight into their culture. I was a little hesitiant in booking a trip over the internet in a country we had not visited before but could not fault your organisation or personnel. Thank you once again. Phil Lewis

	I wanted to take a moment and thank everyone involved with Uday's and my June trip to Beijing. As there are alot of different tour companies to select from in Beijing we took alot of precautions in who to select. This involved so many questions back and fourth to the different companies prior to selecting the right vendor. Then once we selected Dragon Delight we had to customize all of the different tours we wanted to take and arrange a deposit from India. Needless to say in this case we made all of the correct decisions in doing this. And with all of the communications from Michael Liu prior to arriving helped our tour guide Lili to execute our stay just perfectly. Lili went out of her way to make sure everything was flawless. She arrived early for all of our days and answered all of our questions well above and beyond the need of her position. Even to the details of where to go for dinner and just getting around. Lili was better than any Lonely Planet tour book could have ever been. I've attached a picture of all of us on the Great Wall. I work in the Customer Service world and for a client to want a picture of their tour guide speaks leaps and bounds on the type of service they delivered. >From Lili's wonderful performance I've already recommended your company to several of my clients and their associates. 	In reply to your enquiry, yes we did enjoy our holiday in Kunming and Lijiang and would like to come back at a later date to explore some of the natural beauty to the north and west of Lijiang. We found the organization of the tour to be very efficient. The guides were friendly, well organized and very informative. The transport was adequate with the drivers being very capable and appropriately cautious. The meals provided with the tour were of a very good standard and although the menu was a little repetitive, the quality and freshness of the meals compensated for this. 	To thank you for me personally and for my wife, son and daughter for the most enjoyable traveling experience we have ever endeavoured, as well as perhaps the most informative period in my entire life, in many respects, but most profoundly in our cultural links which origininated in your most interesting country and the people we met there. i would like to ask for you to convey this appreciation to the guides you wisely provided for us and not to slight the drivers as well, for we appreciate the degree of difficulty of driving in large metropolitan areas which have different driving styles than what we are used to. i particular i would like to tell you of the extraordinary rapport that we felt with t.j., our beijing guide. my wife felt this to the extent of shedding a tear on our departure from beijing. i believe this was a special situation, part of which was our small group, but one we will never forget. all of our guides were very friendly and informational and our drivers skillfull. after our return, i find myself even more desire to learn more about china than before our visit. all of our friends suddenly are caught up in our tale of the sights and people of china.(at least the places we visited.) we are highly reccommending your travel service as a top flight and well run enterprise that they should all take advantage of. the sights we saw and the treasures we were able to bring back as souveniers are a source of great joy, not to mention the exellent pictures and video that i was able to bring back.
